We had the pleasure of being featured on KOCO5 and interviewed by Mr. Jason Hackett on who we are and what we do.

Our Mission

Our mission is to uplift, encourage, and motivate young men of color in our communities by introducing them to the Gentleman’s lifestyle, culture, and fashion.

Our Motto

“A Gentleman is a Man of The People!”

VISION

Our vision is to empower young men and help create opportunities for them through education, entrepreneurship, mentorship as well as assisting them in their personal development and professionalism.

Our “WHY"

The way we dress is our defiance of negative stereotypes placed upon young Black men. The way we carry ourselves is the standard we set for the next generation, and the work we do in our communities is how we showcase our character.

Our Story

The Grand Gentlemen organization was founded in 2014 to help create and perpetuate positive images of young Black men to counter the negative portrayals that filled the media. After we felt the positive feedback from our community, we decided to go beyond creating representation on social media, and impact our community in a more tangible way. This need to create real impact led us to start giving back time and resources to our neighbors by hosting “Tie Days” at local middle and elementary schools, back to school drives, winter coat drives, and suit drives for the community. We also became a 501c3 non profit organization and created our Man of The Year & Leading Lady scholarships. Our scholarship consist of at least $1,000 towards school or starting a business, as well as a custom business suit designed by us. We believe our scholarship supplies marginalized groups with tools for success that help further their education, helps them become an entrepreneur, and develops their personal growth and professionalism.
